On September 23, 2026, Wheel of Fortune opened with Jen Casillas taking both toss-ups, solving WORKING TOGETHER in the Office category and SPELLING BEE CHAMPION in Person. That fast start gave Jen early control before the main game moved into the first full puzzle.
In Fun & Games, Anthony Gagliardi solved WINNING AT HOPSCOTCH, picking up cash and keeping the game close. The next round, a crossword puzzle in the garden category, turned on a late miss when Nyim Greenwood guessed the final entry incorrectly.
