Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Tuesday, 5 May 2026

On Wheel of Fortune airing May 5, 2026, Lauren and Brittany Koenig, Suhair and Yousef Alhatur, and Sylvia Marie and Marcos Ramirez competed in a game that featured several momentum swings before a dramatic finish. The opening toss-up, TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF, was solved by Lauren and Brittany. In the second toss-up, Suhair first gave an incorrect answer before Brittany stole it with PERSONALIZED COFFEE MUG.

Lauren and Brittany kept the early advantage going in the first main round by solving PERFECTLY PREPARED PANCAKES. In the next round, the phrase puzzle created some confusion. Lauren and Brittany first tried YOU WON’T MISS A BEAT, which was not accepted, and Suhair and Yousef repeated the same missolve. Sylvia Marie and Marcos then stepped in and correctly solved YOU DON’T MISS A BEAT, putting themselves on the board.

The sisters added to their total again in the Prize Puzzle round with STAND-UP PADDLEBOARD, extending their lead and picking up the trip attached to that solve. The Triple Toss-Ups then helped spread money around late in the game. Suhair solved VISITOR CENTER, Yousef followed with FITNESS CENTER, and Lauren answered THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

The deciding moment came in the Speed-Up round with the thing puzzle A FLEETING MOMENT. Suhair and Yousef solved it and surged ahead at exactly the right time, finishing with $40,000 to win the episode. That late solve allowed them to overtake Lauren and Brittany, who had controlled much of the game before the final round.

In the Bonus Round, Yousef chose the Around the House category. After the standard letters and their additional picks were revealed, the team solved JAR OF COINS. The bonus round was won, and Suhair and Yousef doubled their total to $80,000, completing a comeback victory on this May 5, 2026 Wheel of Fortune episode.
