On the April 16, 2026 episode of Wheel of Fortune, the game opened with Terry solving the $1,000 Toss-Up, HAVE A GOOD DAY!, before Payton Perry-Radcliffe claimed the $2,000 Toss-Up with BUCKINGHAM PALACE. The early rounds stayed competitive, but Terry built a strong lead by solving PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY in the first main puzzle.

Payton answered back in the next round with SECOND-STRING QUARTET, keeping the game close. Chad Cabanilla then took control in the Prize Puzzle round by solving THE WINDOW SEAT, which gave him a major boost and moved him into the lead heading into the final stretch.

The Triple Toss-Ups provided another swing in momentum. Chad solved the third one with TWO OUT OF THREE AIN’T BAD after the other two went unsolved, adding to his total and tightening his grip on first place. Terry also picked up one of the Triple Toss-Ups with PART TWO, while Payton’s attempt at ONE ON ONE did not land.

In the Speed-Up round, Chad sealed the win by solving IT’S TRICKY. That late solve pushed him to $18,293 in cash and the Amsterdam trip, enough to finish ahead of Terry’s $17,050 and Payton’s $5,050. Chad Cabanilla won the episode and advanced to the Bonus Round.

For the Bonus Round, Chad chose the Phrase category and faced a puzzle that led to the answer I’M QUITE PROUD OF YOU, but he did not solve it. He lost the $45,000 prize, ending the episode with a strong main-game victory but no Bonus Round win.
