Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Wednesday, 16 September 2026
On Wheel of Fortune airing September 16, 2026, the game opened with a football-themed toss-up set. Taylor solved GREEN BAY PACKERS, while Alicia took the next three with LOS ANGELES RAMS, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, and LAS VEGAS RAIDERS to build early momentum.
In the first main round, Anthony solved the Phrase puzzle LET’S GET THE BALL ROLLING, giving him a strong jump on the scoreboard. He kept that advantage into the middle of the game when he also claimed the Mystery Round puzzle PROTEIN SHAKE YOUR BOOTY, pushing his total well ahead at that stage.
The game turned in the Prize Puzzle round. Taylor picked up letters and a Wild Card, but Alicia took over and solved the Travel Tip puzzle YOU GOTTA GO SNORKELING. That solve brought her cash and a trip to Belize, swinging the match in her favor after Anthony’s early lead.
Alicia continued that surge in the triple toss-ups, solving MAN’S BEST FRIEND and PAW PRINTS EVERYWHERE, while Anthony got CURIOUS CATS. In the final round, Alicia sealed the win by solving PULLING OFF AN UPSET, finishing with $30,173 and a getaway to become the episode’s winner.
In the Bonus Round, Alicia chose What Are You Doing? The bonus puzzle was I’M PIVOTING. She did not solve it, so the bonus round was not won, and the envelope contained $75,000.
