Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Wednesday, 13 May 2026
On Wheel of Fortune airing May 13, 2026, Alicia Cantrell, Jefferson Knapp, and Candace Brown worked through a lineup of puzzles that quickly set the tone for a competitive game. Alicia picked up the opening Toss-Up by solving BET YOUR LUCK, while Candace answered the second Toss-Up with KNOCKED OUT COLD. In the first main round, Alicia added a strong early solve with SOOTHING SPA SERENITY, giving her the early advantage.
The momentum stayed with Alicia in the next section of the game when she solved the Showbiz puzzle HEADLINERS & OPENING ACTS. That gave her another solid addition and helped her build a lead over Candace and Jefferson. Through the first half of the episode, Alicia controlled much of the board with two substantial solves, while Candace remained in striking distance after her Toss-Up success.
The game shifted in the Live It Up! round when Candace solved CHARTERING A YACHT. That swing moved her into much stronger position and tightened the race heading into the late stages. In the Triple Toss-Up round, Candace solved TAKING THE STAIRS, Jefferson got on the board with USING THE STAIR-CLIMBER, and Candace then added HUFFING AND PUFFING. Those late solves proved important as the match moved to the Speed-Up.
The deciding puzzle came in Speed-Up, where Candace solved LOVE DON’T COST A THING. That final solve pushed her past Alicia and secured the episode win. Candace finished with $28,999 in cash and an Italy trip, while Alicia’s strong early game was not enough to hold off Candace’s late surge.
In the Bonus Round, Candace chose Place. After the standard letters and her additional choices were revealed, she was unable to solve the final puzzle. The bonus puzzle was SUBURBIA, so the Bonus Round was not won. For viewers looking for a Wheel of Fortune recap, winner, bonus puzzle, and puzzle answers from May 13, 2026, this episode belonged to Candace Brown thanks to her clutch late-game solves.
