The October 27, 2026 episode of Wheel of Fortune opened with a run of quick puzzle answers. Ted identified FIRE ENGINE, Nicole solved STOP SIGN, and Ted added CHERRY TOMATOES. Nicole then solved STRAWBERRY JAM, while A DOZEN ROSES went unsolved as time expired.
In the first main round, Nicole solved the Don’t Do That! puzzle CHECK INTO THE BATES MOTEL for $5,050. Ted took the What a Scream! crossword round, completing it with “RUN!” for $3,150 and moving into contention.
The prize puzzle, in the Live It Up! category, became a major swing in Ted’s favor. After Diana’s incorrect attempt, Ted solved SPLURGING ON MYSELF for $1,850 and a stay at the JW Marriott Guanacaste Beach Resort. His cash and prizes total reached $19,175 after the round.
The X Factor toss-ups included EXTRAORDINARY, EXCELLENT, and THE EXORCIST. Nicole closed her game with the Speed-Up puzzle SOLID FOUNDATION, earning $3,400 more and finishing with $10,450. Ted remained ahead with $23,175 in cash and prizes, making him the Wheel of Fortune winner.
In the Bonus Round, Ted selected the Phrase category and brought Eric and Katherine with him. With the letters R, S, T, L, N, and E plus his choices of P, D, H, I, and O, he solved I FAILED THE EXAM. The bonus puzzle was not won, as Ted lost out on an additional $45,000.
