On October 13, 2026, Wheel of Fortune featured a basketball-themed game in which Kerri Druckmiller of Oak Park, Illinois emerged as the winner. The opening food puzzles included WHOLE-WHEAT TOAST, solved by Kerri, and MULTIGRAIN BREAD, which gave her control. Kerri then opened the main game by solving the Same Letter puzzle DRIVE, DEFENSE, DRIBBLE for $3,800.
In the next major round, Mohan Gopalakrishnan solved WRISTBANDS AND HEADBANDS for $1,500. Kerri continued to build her lead with IT'S A SLAM DUNK, adding $600 and a Collette tour of Ireland. The result put Kerri at $14,998 in cash and prizes, while Mohan had $2,500.
The on-court toss-up puzzles produced more scoring opportunities. Chari Daniels solved HALFTIME SHOW to get on the board, Kerri answered SHOOTING COMPETITION, and Chari doubled her total with POSTGAME INTERVIEW. Chari later solved the '80s Song Lyrics puzzle DON'T STOP BELIEVIN' for $3,150 and a prize.
Mohan stayed in contention in the final round when he solved the Live Performance puzzle FOLK FESTIVAL for $4,350, finishing with $6,850. Chari ended the game with $7,150, but Kerri's earlier cash and Ireland tour kept her comfortably ahead at $16,998 before the Bonus Round.
Kerri selected the Phrase category for the Bonus Round and was joined by her son, John. With the letters I, N, S, P, W, A, and Y, she solved FROM WAY DOWNTOWN. Kerri won the $40,000 bonus prize, bringing her final total in cash and Ireland prizes to $56,998.
