Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Monday, 21 September 2026
On Wheel of Fortune airing September 21, 2026, Tony opened by solving the first toss-up, ENTERTAIN YOUR BRAIN. Lucy then took the second toss-up with LEMONS AND LIMES. In the first main round, Lucy and Tony picked up some early letters, but Wanda took control and solved LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER, giving her a strong start and the early lead.
The Mystery Crossword round used the clue Graduation Day, and Lucy came through with the set of linked answers DIPLOMA, PARTY, GOWN, and CAP. That solve gave Lucy an important boost, but Wanda still held the overall advantage after the round thanks to her earlier big solve.
In the Prize Puzzle, Wanda kept the momentum going. After Lucy hit a bankrupt, Wanda finished off NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN, adding more cash and a trip to Portugal and Spain. That solve widened her lead and put her in excellent position heading into the late stages of the game.
The Triple Toss-Up round brought a swing for Lucy, who solved HOWLING WIND, then ROARING FIRE, and finally SQUEAKY WHEEL for a clean sweep. Tony answered in the Speed-Up round with RESISTANCE BANDS, but it was not enough to catch Wanda. Wanda finished the episode as the winner with the highest total and advanced to the Bonus Round.
In the Bonus Round, Wanda chose Person. After the standard letters and her additional picks were revealed, the bonus puzzle was FORMER OLYMPIAN. She was unable to solve it, so the Bonus Round was not won. Wanda still closed out the September 21, 2026 Wheel of Fortune episode as the night’s champion.
