Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Monday, 25 May 2026
On Wheel of Fortune airing May 25, 2026, Tierra Woods, Josh Montiel, and BJ Herndon competed in a Hawaiian Vacation-themed episode. Tierra opened by solving the $1,000 toss-up, HAWAIIAN SHIRT DAY, and BJ answered the $2,000 toss-up with EAGLE EYE. In the first main round, Tierra took control with the Body Temperature puzzle THAT MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL, giving her an early lead.
The middle rounds brought a pair of important solves that shaped the game. In Fun & Games, Tierra added more money by correctly solving BOARDWALK AND PARK PLACE. Josh then answered in the People category with POETS AND WRITERS, a solve that also earned him a trip to Ireland and moved him into strong contention heading into the final stretch.
The Triple Toss-Ups tightened the match even more. The first was IT’S RAINING CATS AND DOGS, and the second went to Tierra with OVER THE RAINBOW. The third toss-up was solved as CHAMPION, helping Tierra gain ground, but the game was still up for grabs going into the Speed-Up round.
The deciding late-game puzzle came in the Speed-Up category Lions & Tigers &…. BJ solved TEDDY BEARS, but Josh still finished the episode in first place with $15,747 plus his Ireland tour. Tierra ended with $12,500, while BJ finished with $5,000, making Josh the winner of the May 25, 2026 Wheel of Fortune episode.
Josh advanced to the Bonus Round and chose Phrase. After the standard letters and his additional picks were added, he was unable to solve the bonus puzzle WAX POETIC. The bonus round was not won, and the missed puzzle cost him an additional $45,000.
