On June 1, 2026, Wheel of Fortune opened with Bob Hagh quickly taking both toss-ups. He solved the $1,000 Phrase SWEET AND BUBBLY and then added the $2,000 Human or Animal? puzzle COPYCAT, giving him an early lead and setting the pace at the start of the game.
The first main round, in the category Up in the Air, turned into a comeback moment for Caroline Smith. After Veronica Thomas called several letters and Caroline picked up the solve, she correctly answered IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT. In the Mystery Round, Caroline then landed the big swing of the night with the Before & After puzzle SLEPT LIKE A BABY BACK RIB, a playful solve that pushed her total sharply upward and gave her control of the match.
The Prize Puzzle in Check the Calendar brought one of the more notable turns of the episode. Caroline built momentum on the board but lost the solve when she answered incorrectly with “It’s Almost Saturday.” Bob Hagh then stepped in and solved IT'S ALMOST SUMMERTIME, earning the travel prize and keeping himself within striking distance heading into the late stages of the game.
The Triple Toss-Ups were split between Bob and Caroline. Bob solved HUNGRY, Caroline answered STUFFED, and Bob took the third with BUTTERFLIES. In the Speed-Up round, the category was Back in the Day, and Veronica finally got on the board with THROWBACK THURSDAY. Even with that late solve, Caroline remained in front and won the episode with $20,850, while Bob finished with $14,998 plus his trip.
Caroline advanced to the Bonus Round and chose What Are You Wearing? After the standard letters and her additional picks, she found the solution FAUX FUR PARKA. The solve was correct, and she added $50,000, bringing her final total to $70,850. That made Caroline Smith the Wheel of Fortune winner on June 1, 2026, and she also completed a successful bonus round win.
