Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Friday, 15 May 2026
On May 15, 2026, Wheel of Fortune opened with Candace taking both toss-ups, solving CRYSTAL VASE for $1,000 and SOFTWARE UPDATES for $2,000. The first main-round puzzle then shifted the momentum when Tricia solved MAKING A MOUNTAIN OUT OF A MOLEHILL, giving her an early foothold after Candace’s fast start.
Tricia kept control in the next round with one of the night’s most memorable solves, SAFE-DEPOSIT BOX OF DOUGHNUTS. That put her in front, and she widened the gap again in the prize puzzle by correctly identifying CHECKS AND BALANCES. With that solve, she added more cash and a trip to England, building a commanding lead heading into the late stages of the game.
The Triple Toss-Up round featured more movement on the scoreboard. Tricia solved HURDLES and later ROPE LADDER, while Candace picked up the middle puzzle with TUNNELS. That left the Speed-Up round to determine whether anyone could catch Tricia.
In the final puzzle, Candace solved THE GREAT GATSBY during Speed-Up, finishing with $8,800. Even with that late solve, Tricia remained the episode winner with a total of $17,998 plus her tour, while Candace finished second and Michael was shut out of the main game solves.
Tricia advanced to the Bonus Round and chose What Are You Wearing? After the standard letters and her additional picks, she solved COWBOY BOOTS. The bonus envelope was worth $100,000, so she won the Bonus Round and finished the night with $121,998 in cash and prizes, making her the big winner of this Wheel of Fortune episode.
