As disappointing as it was to see Alexa lose the $100,000 prize in the bonus round, it could have very easily been even more disappointing because at one point during the main game she had the million dollar wedge only to lose it by landing on Lose a Turn, costing her a chance to solve the puzzle to keep the million dollar wedge in play. Had that not happened, the $100,000 envelope would have taken off the bonus wheel and replaced with the million.
