The November 7, 2025, episode of Wheel of Fortune brought together three educators for a spirited Teachers Week showdown: Texas business teacher Maleia Brooks, Illinois math and science teacher Greg Rzemienicki, and Wisconsin fifth-grade teacher April Seubert. Maleia opened the night with confidence, buzzing in on the $1,000 Toss-Up: YOU MADE THE GRADE, and followed it up by sweeping the $2,000 Toss-Up: DEEP-FRIED ICE CREAM. With a Divi Southwinds trip in play, the contestants moved into Round 1 ready to make every spin count.
Round 1 offered the Field Trip category, and after a string of Bankrupts from both Maleia and Greg, April looked poised to take control. However, her guess of “VISITING THE CONSERVATORY” ran too long. Maleia capitalized, solving VISITING THE OBSERVATORY for $4,000 and keeping the board firmly in her favor. Greg recovered in the Mystery Round by navigating through multiple LaTs and Bankrupts to correctly solve THREE-HOLE & SUCKER PUNCH, adding $4,250 to his total in a round that drained all three players with five Bankrupts.
The Prize Puzzle shifted the momentum dramatically. April built the right combination of letters to reveal FEELING LUCKY, earning $1,300 and securing a Road Scholar tour of Ireland to bring her score to $12,500. The Triple Toss-Ups swung back toward Greg, who quickly picked off RHINOCEROS and HIPPOPOTAMUS, before Maleia broke through with CHIHUAHUA to add to her total. At this point, April held the lead heading into the final round, but the game remained tight among the trio.
Maleia entered the Speed-Up Round determined to close strong, working through a list of possibilities before solving ELECTRIC VEHICLE and adding $1,500 to finish regulation with $7,500. Greg had three near misses attempting variations like “electric motorcycle,” but couldn’t land the final solve. With totals set, April advanced to the Bonus Round as the night’s top player with $12,500 in cash and her Ireland tour.
In the Bonus Round, given the category What Are You Doing?, April faced the puzzle WAITING after receiving a helpful set of consonants from her picks. She solved it cleanly, winning a new Audi A3 Premium Plus quattro valued at $44,735 and closing the night with a strong finish of $57,235 in cash and prizes.
