What Is Fan Friday on Wheel of Fortune?
Fan Friday is one of the most exciting weekly features on Wheel of Fortune. During select Friday episodes, viewers get the chance to hear the Fan Friday Word of the Day, which unlocks access to special sweepstakes. By entering the word, fans can win a variety of prizes, including cash, gift cards, Wheel of Fortune merchandise, and even vacations.
Each Fan Friday is designed to give loyal Wheel Watchers an extra reward for tuning in. Just like with other sweepstakes events, the Word of the Day is a key part of making your entry count.
How to Find the Fan Friday Word of the Day
The Fan Friday Word of the Day is revealed on air during the Friday broadcast. Maggie introduces the word as part of the episode, so watching live or streaming later ensures you don’t miss it.
If you can’t catch the show at its original time, Fan Friday episodes are also available the following day on streaming platforms such as Hulu and Peacock. Episodes remain online for one week, giving fans plenty of time to find the Word of the Day and enter.
How to Enter the Fan Friday Sweepstakes
Once you have the Word of the Day, head to wheeloffortune.com to submit your entry. The entry period begins at 3:00 PM PT on the day of the Fan Friday episode and stays open until 11:59 PM PT seven days later. This window gives you time to watch, catch the word, and submit before the deadline.
To participate, you must be a member of the Wheel Watchers Club. Membership is free, quick to sign up for, and required to enter sweepstakes and giveaways.
