On Wheel of Fortune airing May 11, 2026, the opening toss-ups were solved by Petal and Tammy. Petal claimed the $1,000 Song Lyrics puzzle with LET’S MAKE LOTS OF MONEY, and Tammy took the $2,000 Place puzzle with A GREAT STEAK HOUSE. Those early solves gave both players a quick start before the main game shifted toward larger swings in the regular rounds.
In the first main round, Tammy and Petal were tied in the early lead before Armando broke through with the Phrase puzzle THE WHOLE KIT AND KABOODLE. He followed that with another strong solve in the next round, landing PERIODIC TABLE FOR TWO to move into first place. Those back-to-back puzzle wins gave Armando control of the game and established the momentum that carried through the rest of the episode.
The Prize Puzzle round added another important solve for Armando. He completed MY FACE TURNED BEET RED, adding cash and a trip to Jamaica to his total. By that point, Armando had built a substantial advantage, while Petal and Tammy were left trying to close the gap in the final stretches of the game.
Petal did answer two of the Triple Toss-Ups, solving COTTAGE and SWISS. In the Speed-Up round, however, she solved DEEP POCKETS, which boosted her final score to $11,700. Even with that late pickup, Armando remained comfortably ahead and finished the main game as the episode winner with $20,854 in cash and a Jamaica trip.
Armando advanced to the Bonus Round in the category People and completed A CAPTIVE AUDIENCE. The bonus round was a win, adding $55,000 to his total. That brought Armando's grand total for the night to $75,854 and made him the clear standout in this May 11, 2026 Wheel of Fortune recap.
