Tonight’s Wheel of Fortune Recap Thursday, 15 October 2026
On October 15, 2026, Wheel of Fortune featured an NBA-themed opening set of puzzles, including FREE-THROW LINE, COACHES AND TRAINERS, and THREE-POINT LINE. The contestants were Grant Kafka of Monona, Wisconsin; Arthur Barnum of Spring, Texas; and Summer Moore of Oklahoma City.
Grant took control in the People round with CHEERING FANS, earning $11,250 in the round and building a $13,250 subtotal. Summer answered back in the What Are You Doing? round, solving COMING THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH for $21,085, including an Orlando Magic trip.
Summer extended her lead in the Place round with PEACEFUL OASIS, adding $6,750 and reaching $36,785 in cash and travel. That solve put her well ahead of Grant heading into the final stretch of the game.
The later puzzle answers included BETTER THAN EVER, solved by Grant, UNDER THE WEATHER, solved by Arthur, and FEELING MUCH BETTER, also solved by Grant. Grant then solved the Speed-Up puzzle TOO HOT TO HANDLE for an additional $5,100, finishing with $22,350, but Summer remained the Wheel of Fortune winner with $36,785.
In the Bonus Round, Summer chose the What Are You Doing? category. The bonus puzzle was PRACTICING VIOLIN. She did not solve it, so the $50,000 bonus prize was not won.
