On April 17, 2026, Wheel of Fortune featured a fast-moving game that ended with Chad taking the win and then adding a bonus-round victory. Hank Hudson opened strongly by solving the first toss-up with FULL STEAM AHEAD!, and he also grabbed the second toss-up with GOOSEBERRIES to start the night 2-for-2 on the quick puzzles.

The first main puzzle, CRISPY, CRUNCHY, CRUMBLING, went to Chad, giving him an early lead and a strong cash total. Christal Anderson then had a chance to swing the game in the next round, but Chad kept control by solving CHECK THE YELLOW PAGES, which pushed him further ahead and set up the rest of the match.

Chad stayed in command in the next round as he solved TAKING A WEEK OFF, and that solve also came with a getaway prize. The Triple Toss-Up food-and-drink puzzles were split among the players, with Hank solving WEDDING CAKE and POUND CAKE, while Christal solved FISH CAKE.

Christal made a late push in Speed-Up by solving LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL, but Chad’s earlier success had already put him in position to win the game. By the end of the episode, Chad finished as the winner with the strongest total and advanced to the bonus round.

In the bonus round, Chad chose the What Are You Doing? category and solved WATCHING A FILM for the $50,000 prize. That bonus-round win capped off a successful episode and gave him an even bigger final total for the night.
